Superman's Dad

So tomorrow my brother leaves for basic training in the military. Although I took this picture last May, I've been wanting to do this with this picture since then. I am so proud of my brother for the example he is setting for his little family but also for me too. Thank you Bryan for all that you do in both with the military and with also constantly holding the Priesthood. You will never know how much of a "Super Hero" you really are to all of us. Love you!

For those who can't read it, the poem says:

Last week I fought a dragon strong
Then climbed a castle wall.
Too bad I fell from off the roof
Mom’s flowers broke my fall.

Then yesterday, I sailed to sea
The pirates at the door.
Too bad the tub was just too small
To keep the ocean off the floor.

Today, I launched a rocket to
The moon for mom to see.
Too bad the wheel came flying off
And so I skinned my knee.

But Dad was there to pick me up
And make me feel alright.
Then send me out to save the world
And put my cape on tight.

Someday I’ll grow and fly away
though being little isn’t all that bad.
But when I’m big I wont forget
Even Superman Needs a Dad.

Santa

I happen to be very close friends with a very special man named Santa. Every year at Christmas time it's my job to help him go to children's houses and spread joy to others. My friend Santa works hard to instill belief in both children and adults and to help remind everyone of the true reason for the season. I am so blessed to be able to have such a special friend in my life. Here are a few pictures from this Christmas Season.

Even the ladies love Santa

Santa and the Dolls

This little boy was so cute, after asking for a few things that he wanted, he got really quiet and whispered in Santa's ear. He said "Santa, can you work magic?" Santa asked "what kind of magic?". Then Zack replied "The big kind, you know the kind that makes Mommy's be able to have kids". Almost every adult in the room lost it. Apparently his dad and stepmother had not been able to get pregnant and he knew that surely Santa could work some kind of magic to help them out. It was so cute and such a special memory for all who were there to witness the pure innocence and love of a child.

Last Looks of Fall

Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is on it's way. I was able to capture these last few images of fall in my neighborhood before it snowed. Goodbye beautiful weather!!! I'll miss you.
